In the days following his tragic plane crash, Travis Barker has tried to stay upbeat, with plenty of love and encouragement from his family, friends, and ex-wife  Shanna Moakler.
And it seems that his positive attitude has gone a long way in his recovery from the burns and injuries he has sustained.  In fact, he’s already out of the hospital!
Spokesperson Beth Frits told press, “Travis Barker was discharged from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital this morning.  He left in good condition.”
Barker’s buddy/fellow crash victim Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was released this past Friday, and has already updated his Facebook page, which reads, “Adam Goldstein is the luckiest guy alive.”

Just one week after the fatal plane crash that left DJ AM critically injured, a rep for the Hollywood spinner confirms that the artist otherwise known as Adam Goldstein has been released from the hospital.
“Adam Goldstein has been released from Doctors Hospital,” AM’s publicist said in a statement. “While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide.
“We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”
While it’s unclear exactly when the music man was released, a source tells E! News that Goldstein is already back in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old was said to have suffered second- and third-degree burns to his upper body and head when a private plane chartered by him and Travis Barker apparently busted a tire during takeoff and burst into flames.

No matter where you turned in Hollywood yesterday, talk turned to the tragic plane crash that left four dead and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein and Travis Barker in critical, but stable condition at a Georgia burn center.
We caught up with some of their celeb friends and fans at last night’s Entertainment Weekly pre-Emmy party at the historic Beverly Hills Post Office. Here’s what they had to say:
    # Jamie Kennedy: “You know, it’s crazy because I’ve been trying to call Travis because he was on my show Blowin’ Up and I’ve known him for a long time. And I just hope to God—and I pray—that they’re okay and they get through it…My heart goes out to the four victims’ family for sure, and I do hope that DJ and Travis do pull through. And they are gonna pull through.”
    # David Spade: “Sometimes you wind up in those little planes, and there’s always a point where you feel like something might go wrong…It just scares me, I feel for them, and it makes me rethink everything…Everyday that you live is a good one. I hope they’ll pull out of it all right. I think everyone’s pulling for them.”
    # Kathy Griffin: “That is a terrifying, terrifying experience to go through, and thank God two of the guys survived, but, oh man. It’s a scary, scary thing for everyone to go through.”
    # Lauren Conrad: “My prayers are with them. It’s so scary…I just think it’s a wake-up call. A lot of people take those planes, and you kind of get comfortable and you kind of forget, but it’s really scary.”

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM, the turntable star once engaged to Nicole Richie, are the only survivors of a late-night Learjet crash in South Carolina that killed the other four onboard.
A rep for the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga., tells E! News that Barker, 32, and Goldstein, 35, are in “critical but stable condition. Barker arrived by ground transportation while DJ AM had to be airlifted to the hospital where he is currently in surgery, sources close to the celebrity disc jockey tell E! News.
The four victims have been identified by the Lexington County Deputy Coroner. They are pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim, Calif.; her copilot, James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; Barker’s assistant, Chris “Little Chris” Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif.; and Barker’s security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles, Calif.

The House of Hype Video Music Awards afterparty in Los Angeles played host to the majority of interesting celebs in town Sunday eve. Chris Brown, Missy Elliot and Michael Phelps were some of the bigger bold-pusses in attendance, ready to cut loose after a tepid show. Britney behaving? What was that about?
So, infamy-deprived peeps partied in the VIP cabana until it got a little rowdy and the cops rolled in, making everyone leave, such jerks. About a hundred lucky folks were allowed to stay, though, and one got even gotten luckier with the famed Olympic swimmer. Curious?
A fetching clubgoer who partied with Phelps said that despite the flocking girls around him, the big-schnozzed dude was incredibly down to earth. He was all about having a dance party to his fave pump-up tunes like Li’l Wayne and Bob Sinclair, for ince.
Mikey, dressed in an adorable black blazer with a white shirt underneath, was eager to just have a damn good time and never let the fame get to his head. “He’s not hot at all, but supernice,” said our party pal.
Initial looks aside, we think Phelpsy is rapidly growing in doability, and we must not be alone. Michael and his crew ended the night taking by taking a buttload of mostly gals back to the London Hotel in WeHo, and we’re told, by certain between-the-count spies, M.P. had his eye on one sweet thang in par-tick, lucky bitch. Detailed bedhair report coming later in the day…

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was helped off the field after injuring his left knee in the first quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs.  With one minute left in the third quarter, the team announced Brady will not return to the game.)
Frbrady2 Brady was delivering a pass to Randy Moss when Chiefs crawling defender Bernard Pollard hit his left leg, which was outstretched.
He limped into the locker room after the play. Moss fumbled after making the completion, and Kansas City took possession.
The Patriots confirmed it is a knee injury that took Brady out and they say his return today is “questionable.” Today marked Brady’s 128th consecutive start, a streak that dates back to Sept. 2001.
Matt Cassel entered the game as New England’s quarterback.

The Phelpsian frenzy shows no sign of slowing down.
When Michael Phelps shot an impromptu cameo for the new season of Entourage this week, the HBO comedy’s fab four got a taste of what hanging out with the original Fab Four might have been like.
“It was like being in New York City with one of the Beatles,” Kevin Connolly told us Friday about shooting a scene with the 14-time Olympic gold medalist, who’s been the toast of seemingly every town since returning to the U.S. from Beijing.
“People were stopping in the streets and climbing up things to see him. They were going nuts. He’s like a superstar.”
“It was fun,” albeit “pretty humbling,” added the actor, whose hit HBO show has its fifth-season premiere Sept. 7.
The Entourage spot, of course, was only the tip of the iceberg for Phelps, who has also lined up a Sept. 13 hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, presenting duty at the MTV Video Music Awards Sept. 7 and, now, the season premiere of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
He’ll appear with about 150 other members of the U.S. Olympic team, including NBA star Kobe Bryant, gymnast Nastia Liukin, beach volleyball champs Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh and swimmer Dara Torres.
The episode is set to tape Wednesday at Millennium Park in Chicago, which is hoping to be the home of the 2016 Summer Olympics, and air Sept. 8
So, the America’s Homecoming Parade that Disney World held for the star swimmer today in Orlando was really more like the unofficial launch party for Michael Phelps Month, aka September.
And yet, through it all, the 23-year-old Baltimore native still seems to be most comfortable in his old splashing grounds of Any Pool U.S.A.
