Chowkandi Tombs
Chowkandi tombs lie in the suburbs of Karachi, just adjacent to FAST university. They are the tombs, intricately designed by Muslim artisans centuries ago. Most of the tombs here are from 17th century onwards. To reach them, you can take a tazi from Karachi. Ask the driver to drive you to Fast. There ask anyone about the tombs.

This is a British construction of 1868, which makes it one of the oldest structures within Karachi city. It was bought in 1943 by Mr. Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. But he rarely ever lived there after partition of India and Pakistan in 1947. To reach there, ask your driver to take you to Avari Hotel. It is adjacent to it.

One of the most splendid structures in Pakistan. Made by a Hindu merchant druing 1930s, this place was previously occupied by Fatima Jinnah, sister of Founder of Pakistan. Now, after years of neglect, it has been turned into a veritable museum. Ask your cabbie to take you to Licence office. Mohatta is walking distance from there.

Built around 1933 by the British it served as court offices after partition in 1947. Then it came under depression due to neglect. Now, an arm of Pakistan Army, called Sind Rangers, has made this their Head Quarters. Ask your cabbie to take you there. No photography please. For that ask for permission.
