Forgive our jealousy, but country singer Chuck Wicks is the new boyfriend of Julianne Hough, an all-time favorite of The Hollywood Gossip staff. The aspiring singer and Dancing with the Stars contestant confirmed as much herself.
“He’s just a great guy! He’s awesome and really, really talented,” Hough told People Magazine of her new man. “I’m having a great time getting to know him.”
The singer/dancer is a virgin, of course, so she hasn’t gotten to know Wicks on a biblical level just yet.
Hough’s debut, self-titled country album hit No. 1 on the country charts when it was released in May; she and Wicks have been exercise pals on the road.
“When we play amphitheaters, we’ll run up and down the stairs,” she said. “And all of us – all the bands – bought bikes and we go mountain biking and we’ll go to amusements parks and things like that.”
With the new season of Dancing with the Stars set to premiere next month, might time apart spell trouble for this new couple? Hough is confident the answer is no.
