With just days from the official announcement of the three latest Walkmans, Sony Ericsson are making headlines again – this time with a relatively slim slider, called the Sony Ericsson G705. It’s not an official announcement though, but those images look real enough.
The new Sony Ericsson G705, which is said to be announced within two weeks (another Sony Ericsson announcement so soon?), is a slider, which features a 3 megapixel camera and a built-in GPS receiver.
Update: We’ve just found credible info that the upcoming Sony Ericsson G705 sports Wi-Fi as well, much like the Sony Ericsson C905. Well, that makes the package that much sweeter.

Unfortunately, the 3 megapixel camera doesn’t feature auto focus (what a bummer!) and it has a LED flash only. Obviously, Sony Ericsson are turning their backs on xenon flashes, which they pioneered in the first place. The camera will also obviously support geo-tagging thanks to the built-in GPS receiver.

The Sony Ericsson G705 also has 128MB of internal memory and a M2 memory card slot to expand it further
